Senior Vice President of Global Sales
Amy Alabaster, Senior Vice President of Global Sales for UPPAbaby, brings more than two decades of leadership experience in the luxury lifestyle and retail goods space. A graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Business with a concentration in sales and marketing, Amy has focused her career path on her ultimate passion: building brands with purpose and leading teams through vision. Prior to joining UPPAbaby, Amy held executive roles at fast growing consumer brands such as Shinola, an American lifestyle brand known for their watches and leather goods, and ViewPoint, a full-service sales and marketing division to many prestigious designer collections.
Since joining the UPPAbaby team a little more than a year and a half ago, Amy led the launch of UPPAbaby’s new domestic e-commerce website last October and is responsible for growing the brand’s global footprint and revenue stream across a mix of retail distribution channels and distributor models world-wide. When asked why she shifted gears to the juvenile industry she notes she was drawn to UPPAbaby’s small town roots, whose mission was founded on premiere customer experience and offering products that make the lives of parents in those early years a little bit easier. She has also overseen the successful launch of the newest infant car seat for the brand, the Mesa Max, and helped the brand enter the home space with the release of the Remi travel crib and playard. In addition to various product launches, Amy was instrumental in strategically evolving UPPAbaby’s business model to support new product development and channel distribution strategies worldwide. When she isn’t planning total domination of the juvenile industry, Amy can be found spending time with her family and desperately trying to learn how to nap.
